Loaded Motion

Strength training that’s organised, connected, and functional, so you feel capable under load, not just fatigued.

New clients begin with a Beginners Workshop or 2 x 1:1 sessions before joining weekly classes.

What is Loaded Motion?

Loaded Motion is where strength becomes organised, connected, and functional.

This class evolved from our earlier Body Weight Intensive style, demanding full-body combinations that trained the whole system rather than isolated muscles. Loaded Motion builds on that foundation by introducing external load, using dumbbells and weighted sequences in a way that respects your joints, your structure, and your nervous system.

To access any of the classes you will need to attend a Beginners Workshop or have done at least 2 1:1s beforehand.

Who is Loaded Motion for?

This isn’t bodybuilding, and it’s not about lifting heavy.

Loaded Motion trains your body to move intelligently under load. The goal is strength you can actually use, strength that stays connected, controlled, and coordinated when your body is physically tested.

  • Ideal if you want strength and conditioning with structure and intelligence.

  • Great if your fitness is there, but your body feels tight, niggly, or disconnected.

  • For athletes and active people who want strength that transfers and supports longevity.

What to expect in a session

Each class follows a deliberate progression:

Prepare and organise

Gentle, intelligent sequences that respect joint range, movement patterns, and body awareness.

Weighted work

Functional, connected patterns using external load to build strength and resilience.

Bodyweight integration

Return to bodyweight sequences to integrate strength back into fluid, coordinated movement.

Decompress and settle

We decompress so the nervous system can settle, joints can offload, and you leave feeling restored rather than compressed.

What you’ll notice over time

  • Strength feels more connected and controlled

  • Better joint confidence under load

  • Improved coordination, stability, and resilience

  • Less “tension build-up” from training

  • More capability in real-world physical demands
