Last updated: 3 January 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out how The Stirland Approach provides services to you. By using our website, booking a session, joining a membership, or attending a class, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase services.

2. Services covered by these Terms
These Terms apply to:
In-person classes
1:1, 2:1, or small group sessions (where offered)
Online sessions (where offered)
Workshops and events
Memberships and passes
Digital content (if offered)
Service descriptions and pricing are provided on our website and may change over time.
3. Bookings and memberships
Bookings and memberships are typically managed through our website and booking system.
You are responsible for checking session times, locations, and details before confirming.
You must provide accurate contact information so we can reach you about your booking.
4. Payments
Prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due at the point of booking or according to the membership plan selected.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not usually store full card details.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause access to services until the balance is settled.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows
Because small group sessions and 1:1 coaching involve limited capacity, we use a cancellation policy.
Suggested policy wording:
You can reschedule or cancel a session up to 48 hours before the start time.
Cancellations inside that window, or no-shows, may be charged in full.
If we cancel a session (for example, due to coach illness), you will be offered a reschedule or credit. Refunds may be provided where appropriate.
For memberships:
Membership billing and cancellation rules will be shown at checkout.
If you cancel a membership, access typically continues until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
6. Late arrival
If you arrive late:
Your session may still end at the scheduled time.
We may not be able to extend the session, especially if there is another booking after yours.
7. Health, readiness, and your responsibility
The Stirland Approach is a movement coaching service. It is not medical care.
By booking, you confirm that:
You are responsible for choosing activities appropriate for your body and current health
You will inform us of relevant injuries, medical conditions, pain, pregnancy, or changes to your health
You will follow coaching guidance and ask questions if unsure
If you are under medical supervision, recently had surgery, or have concerns about exercise, you should seek medical advice before participating.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop a session if we believe it may be unsafe for you to continue.
8. Results and expectations
We coach with care and professionalism, but results vary from person to person.
We do not guarantee outcomes, timelines, or performance improvements. Progress depends on consistency, lifestyle, prior history, and many other factors.
9. Assumption of risk
Physical activity carries inherent risk. By participating, you accept that there is a possibility of injury, soreness, or other adverse effects.
We take reasonable steps to coach safely and appropriately, but you take part at your own risk.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above:
We are not liable for losses that are indirect, incidental, or consequential
We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control
Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant service in the relevant booking.

Misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access
Upload malicious code

Use the site in a way that breaches any law
